Choas in Candy Land

Monday, November 26

We had a blast at Candy Land, which is also Hershey Park. It was slightly crazy with 6 kids, but we had a great time on the rides and looking at Santa's reindeer. We also enjoyed Hot Cocoa and popcorn. I will admit it was a little strange t be enjoying my HOT beverage at an amusement park. Usually I enjoy ice cream and soda. By the end of the night the kids were tired and little Grace was covered in cheese popcorn.

The rest of the time the kids had fun rock climbing in our backyard. I just love this picture of Isaac on our rocks!! I don't know why I never thought to take photos of my kiddos on these rocks?!

We miss and love you Waller Family!!

Welcome Uncle TAP

My little brother and his girlfriend, Emma, came over this weekend to meet little Sarah Jane. Hannah was so happy to see Uncle TAP, but Carter, well lets just say he wasn't so sure about Uncle TAP. Carter actually crawled across the kitchen counter to escape Uncle TAP, but after about a half hour Carter was giving Uncle TAP high five and following him around.
I will share that I don't know if my brother will ever want to have children after his experience at our home. With my 3 kids and the Waller kids running crazy and totally pumped that we were going to candy land after dinner. Nonetheless we had a great visit.Uncle TAP please don't pinch the baby. wink.wink.

Chocolate Covered Wallers

Saturday, November 24

We got a phone call around 12:30pm from the Waller Family. They wanted to drive out and visit. So they arrived at 6pm. We were so excited to see them and even more excited to share our home. Hannah loves sleepovers!! After eating dinner we went to Chocolate World. The kids LOVED it and had so much fun.

Carter was very excited to see Gracie.

Sarah Jane's first trip to Chocolate World.

Kiddos

Double Trouble. I think Carter and Isaac were separated at birth. They just love each other almost as much as they love Trouble.

Happy TURKey Day

Thursday, November 22

We had a great day! Hannah and I drove Jon and Amanda to the train station at 8am this morning. Hannah wanted to wait for the train and cried when Jon and Amanda got on because she wanted to go with them.
Hannah and I made it home in time to watch the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade with the rest of the family. Hannah and Carter were really into the parade this year. Hannah really wanted to go to the parade. So Brian and I said that we would take them in one of the coming years. I think that would be so much fun.
After the parade we went out for the Turkey Bowl (football) game. It was so much fun!! I will have more photos soon. For dinner the Coleman Family was kind enough to invite us and we had a wonderful time!! Thank you for opening your home. You are such great friends.

Tonight we went to the Coleman's home for a birthday dinner for Brian. Last year Jeff and Beck set up a Godfather dinner party. This year we made it a little more challenging because the Steelers were playing and we couldn't miss the game. So they planned a Mexican dinner. Brian was very happy to watch his Steelers with a Corona with lime and some chips and salsa. It was such a wonderful night! Thank you so much Coleman Family we love you guys.

Meet Sarah Jane

I just love this photo. This is Sarah Jane meeting Uncle David and Aunt Autumn for the first time. She was a little sad that she didn't get to sleepover, but she is looking forward to a sleepover in the near future!!

Nail Polish

Friday, November 16

This is Hannah Grace looking at Sarah's nails. Hannah says, "Momma, you really need to paint Sarah Jane's nails. I also need you to paint my toes." I just love my girls! I look forward to days at a the spa with the girls.

On the Road Again

We had a great trip to Pittsburgh. The car ride wasn't too bad. Above is Hannah Grace playing with Uncle Matt's cat, Dynamite.
We got to visit with friends.

Brain and I got a night away from kids. Well almost... Hannah and Carter had a sleepover with Uncle David and Aunt Autumn. (I am still waiting for them to email me the photos they took. I forgot my camera.) So we did have little Sarah Jane on our date night at the Duquesne Club. It was really fun because it is where we got married and we haven't been there since. Anyway we had a GREAT night. We hung out with Jeff and Beck for a while and then Sarah Jane sleep from 11p till 8am. When she woke up she ate and went back to bed. So Brian and I got to sleep in until 10:30am, which was a real treat!!

Over the Hill

This is Brian after his 30th birthday. We were visiting with our friends the Collettis when we noticed that Brian was sleeping. Is this what happens when you turn thirty? Did you notice the glass of water? I was really wishing that it would spill and I could post that photo, but he is one skilled sleeper.

Happy Birthday, Brian

Tuesday, November 13

In the words of Hannah Grace, "Daddy is turning three zero" He opened his gifts last night as we will be traveling today. Although he wasn't very surprised when he opened the gift from the kids. We went to American Eagle Outfitters yesterday to buy Brian another pair of his favorite sweatpants. As soon as we got home form the mall Hannah said, "Daddy we got you a present. It is pants." Whoops!! Anyway we are having a fun morning and look forward to the rest of the day. I am bummed that my gift to Brian still has not arrived. I guess it will just drag out his 30th birthday a little more.

Go, Uncle Matt!

Sunday, November 11

Grandpa is holding Sarah Jane while she cheers loudly for Uncle Matt
Yesterday my Dad arrived and spent the night. Early this morning we all drove to Fredrick, Maryland to watch Matt play in the the Outback Steakhouse lacrosse tournament. We had a great time.

Hannah Grace was so happy to have Grandpa at her house!! When we went to the tournament Hannah was Grandpa's little shadow. She would just hold his hand or walk right behind him. It was really cute.

We Miss You

Friday, November 9

Today we spent the day in Baltimore, Maryland. We had a really fun day. Hannah and Carter loved chasing birds around the Inner Harbor. Sarah Jane loved looking at the lights and water in the Galleria. After our day packed full of fun we dropped Grammy off at the airport. Hannah Grace was really sad to say goodbye to Grammy. Hannah tried to convince Grammy to take her to see Uncle Tap. Brian and I were really wishing my Mom would take her. wink.wink.

Anyway we had a wonderful visit and miss her already.

Popcorn

Carter eating some popcorn.

Hannah, Carter, and Sarah went to their first movie in the theater on Wednesday. Brian, Mom, and I took them to a noon showing of the Bee Movie. We got popcorn and went in to watch the movie, which was really cute. The kids loved the movie for the first hour and then started to lose interest. I think it is a very mature movie and wasn't holding their attention.

Matching Sweaters

Hannah Grace loves to wear clothes that match Sarah's clothes. Hannah wanted me to post this photo of her holding Sarah in their matching sweaters. They don't really match but they are both wearing white sweaters.
