Hair Cut

Monday, April 30

Well I did it!! I went to get my hair cut this weekend and they took off 7 inches. It is a huge change, but I am learning to love it. It is super easy and I can style it a couple of fun ways!!

Night Night

Friday, April 27

I did make our bed this morning, but the kids think it is so fun to unmake the bed and play "night night". Hannah gets everybody under the covers and then reads a bedtime story. It is so cute that I really don't mind making the bed twice.

Inner Harbor

Tuesday, April 24

It was another beautiful day!! The kids and I met Rebecca and Anna in Baltimore, MD and walked around the Inner Harbor for a good part of the day. The kids loved looking at all the boats and ducks!! On our way home we stopped to have lunch at Noodles. We ate outside and watch the trains come and go every couple of minutes. Hannah thought it was GREAT! Anna and Carter just enjoyed running and running and running.

Happy Birthday Rebecca!

Monday, April 23

We hope that you have a very relaxing and special day!! When I told Hannah it was your birthday today she replied, "I need to buy Becca a kitchen." I don't think she has enough in the piggy bank for that one!? So try not to get your hopes up.

A Funny Sunny Day

Saturday, April 21

FINALLY... a warm and sunny day!! We had a fun day shopping and playing outside.

Tonight the Coleman Family came over and we went for a walk through town, got some pizza, stopped at a coffee house, and went to a local park. We had a great time!! Click below for more photos.

Potty Time

Hannah doesn't really like to go potty, but she loves to read her toy magazines!

Thank You Grandma!

We love watching Charlotte's Web. Carter even oinks like a pig when he sees Wilbur. Thank you Grandma for giving Momma some quiet time to cook dinner.

Love,

PJ Story Time

Corduroy the Bear (right)
coloring and teddy bear snacks

Every Thursday Night all the kids wear pajamas to the Library for story time. This was a special week because Corduroy the Bear came to story time. After hearing the story the kids get to color, eat a snack and then pick out a book to take home. Hannah thinks it is cool to wear her night gown out.

Legs

Tuesday, April 17

In the morning I have come up with a system that the kids will drink their milk and watch Mickey Mouse's Clubhouse while I take a shower and get ready for the day. I close the door to our child-proof bedroom so they can't escape and with a quick glance out of the shower I know what they are doing. Anyway this morning just like all the other I lay my outfit out on the bed before getting in the shower. As usual I could see Carter playing in the saucer and Hannah was trying on all my shoes (actually she only wants the ones with heels!!)
I got ready and was just about to take the kids to get dressed when I realized I couldn't find my knee highs. After taking a closer look at Hannah I realized that she found them and decided to wear them with a pair of heels. She is such a girl!!

Sunday Fun

Sunday, April 15

We had a GREAT Sunday!! The alarm actually woke us up this morning at 9:15am. It was nice to sleep in. Typical Sunday with church and lunch. This evening the Coleman family brought us ice cream for dessert. It was a fun!!
Click HERE for a video clip.

Hannah has finally let me do her hair again.

Another Yucky Day

Friday, April 13

So can you tell what we did on this cloudy and COLD day?? Does the chocolate all over Hannah's face give it away?? We went to Chocolate World with Beck and Anna this morning before naps. The kids could go on the tour of the factory ride all day and I don't think it would get old.
As I have shared with many of you Hannah has this new thing about doing her own hair. I keep trying to tell everyone what exactly it looks like and why I have to UN-do it before we go out in public. Well the photo to the right shows how Hannah styles her own hair. I always tell her she did such a great job. I am trying to encourage her, but I am still trying to figure out how to help her with her hair with out hurting her feelings. Suggestions? Truthfully maybe she is in style and I am totally unaware of it. So is it me or Hannah who needs the help?

Rainy Day

Thursday, April 12

Today we woke up to a very rainy, cold, and dark day!! It was a slow morning of movies, coloring and Play Doh fun. The kids had a ton of fun with the Play Doh. We haven't had it out for a while so it was like a new toy! After lunch was nap time!! Hannah went down at 11am which is really early for her and slept until 3:30pm. I was starting to get worried and wonder if I should check her breathing, but she was fine just needed a little extra beauty sleep.

In the late afternoon we met Beck and Anna at the Bass Pro Shop. The kids love to watch the fish. We also wondered over to the play land in the mall, which was mildly fun and very busy! Although the kids got enough energy out to sit quietly through dinner at Chili's.

From dinner we went to Target and Sam's Club. Hannah got some lipstick and a lipstick holder, which as you can see in the photo to your left she takes very seriously. She needs to use the mirror to make sure she applies the lipstick properly. The fun thing is that she had lipstick all over her face including on her eye lids. For anyone who may be unfamiliar with Hannah's lipstick it is just chap stick.

Baltimore, Maryland

This past weekend we went to Baltimore, Maryland to meet Grandpa and Uncle Matt. They were in Baltimore for Matt's lacrosse. We were able to watch Matt play in two games and watch a little of the high school game which was really exciting.
We are so glad we got to hang out with them!! Hannah keeps saying that she wants to go sleepover at Grandpa's house. Grandpa would you like to take Hannah for a weekend??
Below are the other photos. click and enjoy.

Happy Anniversary!!

Tuesday, April 10

Today is the celebration of our third year of marriage. Brian has made it a very special day. The party started this morning with our LOUD kids. Brian went out and bought us breakfast, which was really fun because we got to celebrate with the kids. Hannah has been saying "Happy 'nanaversary" all day. Brian got me these beautiful flowers and a new Willow Tree figurine. He said that it has a few meaning, but my favorite meaning was that I have been pregnant every year that we have been married. I am not sure what he meant by that?! Actually it has a very special meaning that we have been blessed with healthy, wonderful kids that really compliment our joyful (most days) marriage. Brian and I have come through some really rocky roads at times, but it has really helped us to grow even closer together.
I just can't believe that we have been together since 2002.

Happy Easter

Sunday, April 8

Above is the Easter photo of Bean!!

Carter decided to wake up at 5am this Easter morning so he wouldn't miss the Easter Bunny. Although he missed the Bunny, Carter had tons of fun walking, climbing and jumping on Brian and I until about 6am when it was time to get up for the sunrise church service. At that moment he was sleeping upside down on our bed so we decided to get a little more shut eye and go to a later service. Needless to say Carter was up again at about 7:15am. He spent the rest of the morning playing in his crib.

Hannah and Carter had a fun morning and we all enjoyed church!! We rushed home so the kids could get good naps before we leave for Lupper. As Homer Simpson so wisely stated, "Lupper is the meal between lunch and supper."
Easter 2007

It should be a great Lupper with the Coleman Family. We are going to the Easter Buffet at HERSHEY LODGE where we will eat in the Chocolate Ballroom. Click on MENU if you want to see the food choices. The photos will be posted later!!

Easter Eggs

Friday, April 6

This morning I went out shopping with the kids and found some very cute Easter outfits. A friend told me that every Easter they got totally new outfits as a symbol of new life because of the Resurrection. I think that is a wonderful idea!! I also want to pass down the Easter Hat. As a little girl I got a new hat for Easter and it this is a memory I hope to share with Hannah Grace.
Easter Outfits

After a long shopping trip with 2 kids in the tiny umbrella stroller. We went home for naps. The kids had a really fun afternoon hanging out with Daddy!! Then, tonight after we ate dinner we dyed our Easter eggs and had a fun time!!
