Uncle B & Auntie A

Sunday, June 10

We had a very fun weekend with Unc B and Auntie A. Brian and David played golf on Saturday in a tournament put on by our church. They both came home hot, sunburned, and tired. Sunday morning we went to a local french country restaurant for breakfast and then took a trip down to see Brian's office. Thanks for coming!! We had so much fun!

FINALLY!!

The 2007 Photo Album has arrived!!

I have been working on it for 2 days.
6 months and 600 photos later we are done.
The kids were so excited to look at it this morning. Hannah wants to take it with her so she can show all of her friends. Needless to say I made her a mini album to carry around.
I love blogging, but it really makes hard copies seem like a chore!! I forgot how much I enjoy having a photo album to look at. Soon we will be adding Baby Turk to our album.

Raystown Lake, PA

Crocs

Tuesday, May 29

Today Carter was initiated into the Croc club. We all own a pair and love them. Now Carter can be part of the group. Hannah loves her orange Crocs. I offered to buy her a new pair today, but she said "no thank you Momma I already have some." So instead she wanted to pick the "charms" for her shoes and Carter's shoes.

Happy Memorial Day

Monday, May 28

Happy Memorial Day!
I hope that everyone had a relaxing weekend. Brian and I woke up this morning and felt like new people. I guess we really needed the sleep. Lately, every time Brian and I try to sleep in Hannah wakes up at 6am. The good news is that her new curtains have her sleeping in until 9am. YEAH! We stopped at the Capital this morning and then went to the Coleman's home for a delicious lunch. The Chocolate Chip Pie was AMAZING! Now it is time for naps. Tonight we hope to walk around the arts festival in Harrisburg and watch the fireworks on the river.

Good Night

Sunday, May 27

It is so fun to watch the love between Hannah Grace and Carter develop. They are really rough and wild most the day, but deep down they just love each other so much. Every night they get to watch a show before bed and tonight they wanted to sit together and cuddle. " I want to cuddle Carter, Momma." Hannah Grace says before bed. She also loves to read him bedtime stories, pray and turn off his lights then say "nigh nigh Carter." Too Cute!!

Mt. Gretna, PA

Saturday, May 26

This afternoon we took a beautiful drive out to Mt. Gretna, PA.

It is a really tiny village/resort area. The big attraction is Conewago Lake, but really enjoyed just walking around and looking at all the little cottage homes.

We went to the famous Ice Cream Parlor known as the Jigger Shop for lunch. We ate outside on the deck amongst the evergreen trees. Then, we went for a nice walk to burn some calories and look at the cute summer homes. After our walk we came back to try the ice cream, which was as delicious as expected.

1st Trip to the Barber

Saturday Morning
Brian and Carter got up and went to the Barber shop with Uncle Jeff at 6:30am. Brian and Jeff got great cuts, but Master Turk would not let the Barber cut his hair. After trying a variety of toys and lots of screaming they called it quits.

Carter was happy to come home and get a hair cut from his Momma.

Pool Party

We started Memorial Day weekend with a pool party and cookout. It was a casual fun night with the Coleman Family. The kids had a blast playing and we enjoyed an American meal of hot dogs, baked beans, Amish pasta salad, and angel food cake with fresh strawberries!! We are so lucky to have good friends that live so close and who are also willing to hang out with Brian.

Happy Couple

Wednesday, May 23

How often do you see a photo of US?? Tonight at the fair I took a photo of the two of us just to share with all of you. I hope you enjoy it!!
Sorry for the long break between entries... we have been working on "potty stuff". Hannah does a great job and is wearing underwear, but we still have a few issues we need to iorn out with shall I say #2.
Today was a very fun day!! We started the day with a morning walk around the neighborhood with Allison and Mrs. White. Then, we were off to ride the Factory Ride at Chocolate World. This was followed by lunch with Daddy. Hannah has really been missin' her Dada.
Tonight we met the Coleman Family at a Carnival. It was such a joy to see the kids have so much fun on the rides. Hannah and Anna were a hoot on the train. They were laughing so hard!! The night came to an end at the ice cream shop. I know bedtime and ice craem aren't the best combo, but it was SO worth it!!

Baby Turk

Thursday, May 17

This morning we went for an ultrasound of Baby Turk. Everything looks good!! Brian and I held strong and did NOT find out the sex of the baby. Really, how many true surprises are their in life. In closing, I will admit that I am experiencing some anxiety about what to take to the hospital. I guess I will just have to pack for either and take a really BIG suitcase!!

Bubbles

Wednesday, May 16

Hannah LOVES to blow bubbles! This morning she was outside blowing bubbles for a good 45 minutes.

Happy Mother's Day!!

Sunday, May 13

Happy Mother's Day to all the Mothers!!
The kids bought me the Oster 3883 Chrome Waffle Maker for Mother's Day. We decided that we wanted to start a tradition of having Waffles every Saturday morning. When I was little and even to this day my Dad makes me waffles and that is a memory that I love and want to pass onto our kidos. We made our first batch this morning for breakfast and they were very YUMMY!!

Play Day

Saturday morning Brian and Jon went to play 18 holes of golf at a local course. So I took the kids to a great park that is designed for 2 to 5 year olds. We took a mile nature walk and then played on the playground for an hour or so. On the way home we stopped to walk around the Art Festival in the park. We had a great time!! We had lunch and listened to a Barbershop quartet and Hannah bought herself a silver spoon bracelet.

Sunday, May 6

Brian heard that Bod Oakes has the new bluetooth ear piece that he wears ALL the time. So Brian decided he would invest in one too!! Above is a photo of Brian modeling his new bluetooth ear piece!!

Road Trip

Hannah and Momma took a road trip to Pittsburgh, PA this weekend.

First, we first met Grandma for some Bruster's ice cream.

Next stop was the Waller's house. We walked to a park to meet Greta, Luke, & Sarah. This was the first time I got to meet Sarah and I must say she is the cutest baby I've ever seen!!

Friday night we ate dinner at Luke & Sarah's house.

Saturday, we had a big breakfast made with love by my Dad. It was really good. Hannah helped Grandpa make the waffles. Then, Hannah spent the day with Grandpa while I went to Autumn's Bridal Shower.

Autumn & Nancy

It was a beautiful shower and everyone seemed to have lots of fun. Thanks to everyone that made it such a special day for Autumn!!

David stopped by the shower to help Autumn open her final gift.

Congratulations David & Autumn!

We are also so Happy for the very proud grandparents, Pat and Mary Pesce. Mary has been like

mother/grandma to our family. I must share that baby Luke is going to enjoy some of the BEST baked goods EVER when he grows up!! One of the things we miss most about moving away is Mary's Baked Goods!!

Congratulations!! We can't wait to meet you baby Luke!!
