Today Carter was initiated into the Croc club. We all own a pair and love them. Now Carter can be part of the group. Hannah loves her orange Crocs. I offered to buy her a new pair today, but she said "no thank you Momma I already have some." So instead she wanted to pick the "charms" for her shoes and Carter's shoes.
I hope that everyone had a relaxing weekend. Brian and I woke up this morning and felt like new people. I guess we really needed the sleep. Lately, every time Brian and I try to sleep in Hannah wakes up at 6am. The good news is that her new curtains have her sleeping in until 9am. YEAH! We stopped at the Capital this morning and then went to the Coleman's home for a delicious lunch. The Chocolate Chip Pie was AMAZING! Now it is time for naps. Tonight we hope to walk around the arts festival in Harrisburg and watch the fireworks on the river.
We went to the famous Ice Cream Parlor known as the Jigger Shop for lunch. We ate outside on the deck amongst the evergreen trees. Then, we went for a nice walk to burn some calories and look at the cute summer homes. After our walk we came back to try the ice cream, which was as delicious as expected.

This morning we went for an ultrasound of Baby Turk. Everything looks good!! Brian and I held strong and did NOT find out the sex of the baby. Really, how many true surprises are their in life. In closing, I will admit that I am experiencing some anxiety about what to take to the hospital. I guess I will just have to pack for either and take a really BIG suitcase!!
So I took the kids to a great park that is designed for 2 to 5 year olds. We took a mile nature walk and then played on the playground for an hour or so. On the way home we stopped to walk around the Art Festival in the park. We had a great time!! We had lunch and listened to a Barbershop quartet and Hannah bought herself a silver spoon bracelet. ![]() |

The kids were able to pet some horses and play on a playground. So it wasn't a total loss.Saturday, we had a big breakfast made with love by my Dad. It was really good. Hannah helped Grandpa make the waffles. Then, Hannah spent the day with Grandpa while I went to Autumn's Bridal Shower.

Autumn & Nancy
David stopped by the shower to help Autumn open her final gift.
